# Take One

## What it does

- **Self-Tape Analysis** — Upload or record a self-tape. Returns director-level notes anchored to timestamps in the video: eye contact and camera connection, whether the eyes are thinking or fixed, emotional truth and whether a choice is specific, beats and the moment before, pacing and breath, script ownership and whether the reading shows, physicality, and tape craft (framing, headroom, eyeline, lighting, audio). Every analysis opens with one of three verdicts: SUBMIT THIS, ONE MORE TAKE, or NEEDS REWORK.
- **VO Audition Coach** — Record live, upload a read, or paste a script. On audio it coaches operative words, breath placement, energy arc, and whether the read sounds like a person or an announcer, all timestamped. On a pasted script it returns a pre-read beat map with operative words and traps.
- **Scene Partner** — Paste your sides, tag your role, and rehearse out loud. It reads every other character aloud, listens for your lines, and advances the moment you deliver. Cue, fade and speed-through drills build memorization; every pass ends with an off-book score and the lines you dropped.
- **Rate Calculator** — Ballpark VO rate ranges for a described job, non-union (GVAA reference) or SAG-AFTRA scale, plus which usage terms move the number and take-home after commission.
- **Agent Pitch Writer** — Drafts a submission letter to voice-over or talent agents from your credits, range, and target agency.
- **Client Email Generator** — Drafts emails for late payment, revision disputes, scope creep, and rate negotiation.
- **Audio Polish Toolkit** — Diagnoses a described audio problem (hum, clicks, room noise, plosives, sibilance) and gives exact processing steps for your DAW, preferring free tools.

## Who it is for

## What it does not do
